KMB Video Journal Wins the 24th Annual Telly Award
It was announced by the Telly awards Committee, that the KMB Video Journal is one of the winners. The recognition goes to the program entitled "The Impact of 9/11 on Telecommunications Services."
Nearly 11,000 entries were received for the 2003 Telly Awards Competition; of that number a 7% - 10% are chosen as winners and 18% are chosen as finalists.
Rather than compete against each other, entries are judged based on a high standard of excellence. This year entries were received from all 50 states as well as Canada, Europe and Asia. Each year the judges consist of a group of well over 20 highly qualified production professionals. For the past several years, all judges have previously won a Silver Telly. The Telly Award was founded in 1980, showcases and gives recognition to outstanding non-network and cable commercials. Now in its 24th year, The Telly Awards has become a well known and highly respected form of recognition for people who create commercial films and videos.
The KMB Video Journal and Mike Beilis, its producer, have been recognized as a winner, which is a significant achievement in itself.
